Description

SV440 — Nelson Dionne Collection. Interior view inside the First Universalist Church on Rust Street. The pulpit and communion table are shown festooned with floral decorations, and an icon of a man is visible hanging on the wall below a cross made from greenery. Possibly taken following the 1877-1878 renovation.

The church was originally constructed 1808-1809. The church ceased services in 2015 and now serves as a community art center.
